Winter In A Tropical Cave
The lone Esk stood within the cave that he resided in. He flicked his tail, eyes watching the other small wildlife go about their normal days. A snake slithered over his paw and he lifted it afterward, shaking it slightly to get the feeling that something had touched him away. He raised his head arrogantly and shook out his fur. He didn’t like feeling the other wildlife touch him. He started walking along, his eyes scanning around him in his cave, watching for more snakes or frogs or bugs that might end up on him. He was grossed out by bugs especially, always getting on him when he sat or laid down to relax. They had no idea of personal space, liking to land on his fur or in his ferns. Desert Travels
The Esk was on the move. She enjoyed her wide open space that she had for her biome. She loved taking walks through the shrublands. It never ceased to amaze her in what she could find. Every time she took a walk, she would find something new, and because the area was so big, she didn’t even think she’d seen her entire boundary just yet.
She enjoyed every day traveling through her boundary. There were always things to see, animals to interact with, and oh, how she loved trying to make friends with all of the animals! They were mainly lizards and some snakes, but her favorites were, of course, the mammals that she found, that, and the few tortoises she had seen. She usually didn’t stick around tortoises that long, though. They were too slow moving and she liked t Story About Esk 429Thank you to KO3LNHA for letting me use your Esk!
Heart of the Forest
It was a new day, he realized as the light streamed in through the leaves and awakened him. Although he didn’t need to sleep, he did enjoy resting every now and then, it only felt natural to do so. He slept in the same place he had when he was human since he had returned after being transformed. It only made sense. He’d lived in this forest for most of his life, might as well stay in his home, rather than letting it go completely to waste. Then again, it was going to waste anyway, he couldn’t exactly upkeep it as well as he wanted to in this form, but, it still acted as a nice place to always know he could depend on. A place that he could always return to after his wanderings through the forest.
